A pregnant woman was killed on Sunday when, according to the California Highway Patrol, her car veered off the freeway and crashed into a tree in a Glendale car accident. According to the Glendale News Press, the cause of the Glendale wrongful death car accident is currently unknown, but there were no indications that drugs or alcohol played a part in the collision.
Unfortunately, the woman who was killed will not be able to give her side of the story as to what caused her to veer off of the freeway. In these circumstances, the cause can often be debris in the road or swerving to avoid another car.
Our accident lawyers have successfully handled injury cases involving freeway accidents caused by debris on the freeway (where we were able to locate the entity responsible for the debris) and recently successfully settled a car accident claim against another driver, where there was no contact between her vehicle and our client’s vehicle.
In that case, the at fault vehicle made an unsafe lane change into our client’s lane and forced him off the freeway and into the shoulder of the freeway and into the side guarding. Fortunately, a witness was able to get the responsible vehicle to stop at the scene of the freeway accident, and we were able to obtain a great financial recovery for our client.
If you are ever involved in a car accident in California, it is very important to get all witness information as well as all of the information on the responsible party. This includes all of the information from the drivers’ license, license plate, insurance card, registration, etc. Because some of the information may be incorrect, such as an expired insurance card, it is best to get everything and allow the California personal injury attorney to use it to get you the recovery you are entitled to under the law.
