Some Honda Civic owners have reported problems related to their lane departure assist system also known as the Honda Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS). For example, according to the website Carproblemzoo.com, the owner of one 2022 Honda Civic reported the lane centering/keeping feature began pulling the vehicle sharply to the right side of the lane causing the lane departure warning system to shake the steering wheel, this occurring on or about June 13, 2022, with just over 600 miles on the Honda Civic vehicle.

Another driver said in a complaint on March 16, 2022, that their 2022 Honda Civic pulled out of the lane instead of steering the vehicle in the lane. The driver stated s/he provided Honda with video and picture evidence and that the automaker couldn’t do anything to fix the problem. This individual said s/he are no longer comfortable using those features and that s/he don’t feel safe driving the vehicle while those assist features are engaged.

Palm Springs Pedestrian George Lammon Hit and Killed by Car

George Lammon, a 52 year old resident of Twenty-nine Palms, California, was reportedly struck and tragically killed in Palm Springs by a vehicle on May 22, 2022, at about 4:12 am.

The pedestrian vs vehicle wrongful death collision occurred at the 800 block of North Sunrise Way in Palm Springs, California.

The Riverside County Fire Department arrived on the scene and reported this incident.

PIT BULL DOGS ATTACK AND INJURE MOTHER AND HER 1-YEAR-OLD BABY Pico Rivera Mother and Daughter Bit By 2 Pit Bulls in Los Angeles County- Mother Kills One Pit Bull Defending Herself and Her Daughter

A Pico Rivera family was shattered when two Pit Bull dogs viciously attacked a one year old baby girl when the baby started crying. The baby’s family tried to pull the two Pit Bull dogs off the baby girl while one of the dogs had the tiny baby girl by her leg in this Pico Rivera dog attack.

The mother of the baby girl suffered multiple bites while trying to save her daughter, including receiving bites to her face and hands. These bites occurred while the mother, Jamie Morales, was trying to free her baby daughter from the latching bite of the Pit Bulls.

Pit Bull dogs are notorious for being both vicious and having a latching type of bite that causes significant injury.

On Sunday night, April 17, 2022, at about 7:33 p.m., pedestrian Carla Skowronski was killed when hit by a hit and run driver, when she was walking on the 9000 block of Foothill Blvd., in Rancho Cucamonga, California, as reported by KTLA NEWS.

The news reported that she was walking her dog when for no known reasons she was hit and killed by the hit and run vehicle on Foothill Blvd.

Pedestrian Carla Skowronski reportedly was only 56 years old at the time of this California wrongful death hit and run incident.

New California Wrongful Death Law May Help Heirs of Car and Truck Accident Victims Killed in Accidents

Jose Mora died as a result of a wrongful death collision between a white cargo truck and a sedan car that was changing its tire on January 25, 2022. Apparently the driver of the car was changing its tire, somewhere on the westbound side of the Simi Valley Freeway (118 Freeway) near its intersection with the San Diego Freeway (405 Freeway).

In addition to the tragic death of Mr. Mora, two other men were transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition. There is no new word on their conditions.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) just released data that up to December 25, 2021, 289 persons were killed in traffic collisions from January 1, 2021 to December 25, 2021. That is an increase of 21% more deaths than the year before (2020) and an increase of 19% more than the year before that (2019). There have been 38,680 reported deaths on U.S. roads during 2020, according to the National Safety Council, a nonprofit organization. Many of these traffic accidents result in wrongful death claims. What is most startling about this motor vehicle wrongful death statistic is that we know that the quarantine shut-downs of the coronavirus 19 pandemic drastically reduced driving and traffic, so why would traffic accidents resulting in deaths increase?

The National Safety Council stated that this wrongful death statistic “was completely unprecedented.” It added, “We didn’t know what was happening.”

Different possibilities for this increase in car and other motor vehicle death cases include that drivers are stressed out due to all the health, financial and other problems caused by this pandemic. The National Safety Council opined that American drivers were releasing their anxieties and other problems, such as depression and feelings of isolation and loneliness, on the more wide-open roads that resulted from much less travel.

Passenger Hong Fei Zhang Killed in Newberry Springs Car Accident

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that passenger Hong Fei Zhang was killed in a car crash on Thursday, November 4, 2021. This wrongful death car accident reportedly occurred around 9:30 p.m., near Milepost 29, on Interstate 40 (I-40). Mr. Zhang was pronounced dead at the scene of this very tragic crash. Mr. Zhang was only 77 years of age.

Receive an intriguing unsolicited message from an unknown sender via an app, such as Whats App, respond to it and be drawn into an interesting conversation. Before you know it, the supposed woman on the other end wants to celebrate because she invested some money in gold (or some other precious metal, commodity or cryptocurrency) and made a huge profit in a short time, with little to no risk.

The person on the other end may even send an official looking graph or statement that appears to show this huge profit. That’s right – she bought gold bullion via a trading company then sold it just 15 to 20 minutes later and made a huge profit, perhaps even over a million dollars. Sound tempting? Too good to be true? Yes of course!

Then, a few days later this incredible investment opportunity occurs again. By the third time she has lured you in so that you either request to be included or she convinces you to do it. She suggests you transfer money to start to open the new required “trading account” then her teacher/mentor/relative, who supposedly works with or used to work with a famous brokerage or company and has many special contacts or insider information, will advise when to buy and sell. They claim they will do this for you because you are now a “good” friend of the scammer.
