A San Bernardino County pedestrian accident in Bloomington this week caused the death of three siblings, and left their mother seriously injured. According to CBS News, 19-year-old Leonardo Bravo lost control of his Dodge Challenger and collided with the group of pedestrians. The car continued forward, finally crashing into a tree and brick wall.
The pedestrians, a 20-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy, and a 14-year-old girl, were walking home with their mother along Slover Avenue when the accident occurred. The mother, who survived the accident, was rushed to the hospital with moderate injuries.
Investigators with the California Highway Patrol are investigating to determine how this pedestrian accident happened. The teenage driver stayed at the scene to talk with police, and officers did not find any evidence of alcohol or drugs playing a part in this Bloomington pedestrian wrongful death accident. However, officers are looking to see if speeding or racing may have contributed to the accident. We offer our condolences to the surviving mother and her family.
